Blue Waters Resort & Spa, located in northwestern Antigua, announced winter visitors can enjoy several new updates on the property, including new treatments at the spa, renovated suites and rooms, a new executive chef and more.
Guests will now be able to choose from several new spa treatments thanks to the Spa at Blue Water’s recent partnership with ila Spa. The ila Chakra Wellbeing treatment, one of these new options, targets healing of the physical body and the lymphatic system using a Marma massage and the Light Technique. Another of the new options, the Gold Cellular Face Therapy, refreshes the skin using hold and frankincense.
Blue Waters also expects to be finished with renovations to its Cove Suites and Deluxe Beachfront Rooms by the end of 2018. The rooms will have a modern, updated look as well as new 50-inch screen smart TVs, integrated domestic minibars and Nespresso coffee machines.
The property’s newest executive chef, Lisa Sellers, comes to Blue Waters from the British Virgin Islands. With a degree in from Birmingham University’s College of Food, Tourism & Creative Studies, Sellers has spent her career crafting Caribbean cuisine for luxury resorts.
The property also updated its fitness center with new Cybex gym equipment. Guests will be able to make use of three new treadmills, two cross trainers, an arc trainer, two PowerMill climbers and three bikes.
