The Bodrum EDITION has announced new chef collaborations and a pop-up as part of its culinary calendar for the upcoming season. The experiences will be available when the hotel reopens April 19 in addition to the contemporary Aegean and Anatolian cuisine at Kitchen by Osman Sezener, Asian fusion specialties at Morena by Inari Omakase, and the signature Peruvian and Latin American concept by celebrity chef Diego Muñoz at Brava.
2021 culinary season highlights include:
At Morena, The Bodrum EDITION’s all-day restaurant, executive chef and Peruvian “free rider” Diego Muñoz is collaborating with the finest Asian restaurant in Istanbul, Inari Omakase. The space will evolve from an informal laidback setting during the day into the Inari pop-up in the evening, to serve an elevated dinner menu incorporating Japanese flair. The new pop-up will have a curated menu that celebrates the biodiversity of the environment, using only the freshest local produce that Turkey has to offer.
At Kitchen, the restaurant joins forces with renowned Turkish celebrity chef Osman Sezener, creator of the critically acclaimed, Od Urla. Sezener has created a new concept to open the space for dinner, with a menu that truly supports the local community and immerses guests in an array of indigenous flavors. Many of the ingredients presented are sustainably sourced from nearby farms, as well as the property’s own gardens. Comprising fresh produce including herbs, salad greens, vegetables and fresh fish and meat, Kitchen is all about exploring Turkish Coast.
Diego Muñoz has cooked in across the globe in Paris, Sydney, Lima, Bali, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Miami and as many cities as you can count, but his roots are strongly linked to Peruvian soil. As always, BRAVA, the hotel’s signature al fresco restaurant, offers an enhanced Peruvian-inspired menu for the 2021 season with authentic dishes, such as an array of freshly locally sourced crudos and well-known traditional dishes, such as Lomo Saltado and Nikkei Ceviche. At BRAVA Bar, the beverage concept is built on inventive mixology that compliments the local flavors found in the region that pay homage to Latin America. BRAVA will continue to host a number of collaborations with renowned names in music, art and fashion.
Relaunched for this upcoming season, the “elegantly relaxed” Morena Beach has been enhanced to offer more private cabanas. International and local DJs will take up guest residencies for the summer entertainment program, hosting a series of beach parties every Friday and Saturday.
Guests at The Bodrum EDITION can enjoy the rest of the hotel’s offering, with spa and wellness experiences including daily complimentary yoga sessions, INSCAPE, EDITION’s meditation partner and yacht trips.
