The Breakers Palm Beach to Host Grand Slam Weekend

The Breakers Palm Beach will host a Grand Slam Weekend on March 21 and 22, convening tennis legends Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Andy Roddick and Kim Clijsters for a celebration of sport and philanthropy. These special events mark the debut of The Breakers’ new tennis and racquet complex, and will benefit First Serve USA, an organization dedicated to empowering youth through education, life skills training and mentorship.

Grand Slam Weekend Events

  • Hall of Fame Exhibition Match (Friday, March 21, 9:30 a.m. to noon) – Agassi, Graf, Roddick and Clijsters face off in a fun mixed-doubles, 10-game pro set umpired by Emmy award-winning comedian Michael Kosta
  • Tennis Ball (Friday, March 21, 6 p.m.) – This lively and casually chic affair will include cocktails, a seated dinner, Q&A with tennis legends, live auction and entertainment by comedian Kosta, as well as the Marquee Show Band with “The Voice” finalists Steve Memmolo and JChosen
  • First Serve Pro Am (Saturday, March 22, noon to 4 p.m.) – Participants play alongside top-ranking pros, including Andy Roddick, Kevin Anderson, the Bryan brothers and Danny Wuerffel in this round-robin-style tournament

A limited number of tickets are available and prices vary by event. Complimentary valet parking is included.

The Grand Slam Weekend coincides with the debut of The Breakers’ newly transformed 104,000-square-foot racquet center, a $12 million investment in luxury recreation. With 16 state-of-the-art, open-air courts, the facility offers 12 tennis courts across three surfaces including hydroponic grass, hydro clay and cushioned hardtop; two pickleball and padel courts each; comfort stations adjacent to each court for rejuvenation and refreshments; a fully equipped stretching deck; and more.
