Brown Hotels has announced that its latest property, Isla Brown Corinthia, will welcome guests in June this year. Located on the Saronic Gulf, less than an hour’s drive from Athens, Isla Brown Corinthia is the first property from Brown Hotels’ new line of luxury resorts.
Isla Brown Corinthia joins Brown Hotels’ portfolio as the sixth hotel to open in Greece in the past two years, following the Athens-based Brown Acropol, Villa Brown Ermou, DAVE Red Athens, Lighthouse Athens and Kubic House.
Isla Brown Corinthia will operate as the international hotel group’s first five-star resort. The hotel will offer 166 guestrooms and suites. Guests can choose from Classic, Classic Family, Deluxe Sea View or Deluxe Family Sea View rooms, or opt for the Executive or Presidential Suites. Guests will have access to two swimming pools, a wellness center, rooftop bar and restaurant, private beach with water sports facilities and an events space. Next year, the property will add a 110-bungalow complex complete with a swimming pool and restaurant, located on the Corinthia hillside.
The resort will have an intimate cave-bar serving fresh and contemporary dishes, and a Mediterranean restaurant offering Greek classics. Additionally, the hotel will provide guests with an à la carte menu and the signature Brown Hotels breakfast buffet. The adults-only roof terrace offers loungers, jacuzzi baths, a pool and an open-air bar. In the evening, guests can enjoy DJ sets on the rooftop illuminated with fire pits.
Leon Avigad, founder of Brown Hotels, said that plans for additional Isla-branded resorts in Crete and Corfu are in the pipeline for 2023. Brown Hotels is set to expand its portfolio with the opening of seven properties in Athens and three new resorts in Chalkida, Eretria and Corfu this year. The acquisition of further properties over the next two years will see the Israel-based hotel chain’s collection total at 40 hotels across Greece by 2024.
