Tel Aviv-based hotel group Brown Hotels is planning to launch seven new properties in 2019 and 2020 in hotspots across Israel, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Ashdod.
The new Brown Hotels openings include:
The Dave Levinsky
The Dave Levinsky, which just had a soft opening, is the second edition to Dave Gordon: A Brown Hotels' brand. The brand’s downtown counterpart has 27 rooms and a communal rooftop terrace performance venue. It is located near the outdoor Levinsky food market and Rothschild Boulevard.
The Theodor
This Bauhaus-inspired hotel located at the Rothschild Boulevard is slated to launch in the fall of 2019. Amenities will include 34 rooms and suites, along with a private garden and a restaurant.
Hôtel BoBo
This 200-room design hotel will become Brown Hotels' largest property to date. The building, once an office tower, sits at the crossroads of Rothschild Boulevard.
Deborah Brown
Located at 87 Ben Yehuda Street near Gordon beach, the former Deborah Tel Aviv hotel is being transformed into a Brown Hotels property. Brown Hotels says it will juxtapose an area typically associated with mass-market accommodations with glamour.
Brown JLM
Slated to launch in spring 2020, Brown JLM is located at main hub of Jerusalem. Near the Old City walls, Brown Hotels says the property will contrast the ancientness of the city with a contemporary urban style. It will overlook the beautiful Independence Park and neighbor the Nachalat Shiva and Mamilla pedestrian malls and Jerusalem's new Museum of Tolerance.
WOM Allenby
WOM Allenby, which officially opened on September 1, is the first instance of the new brand of pod-style hotels and is located at 21 Allenby Street, which is a block away from Tel Aviv's beach promenade. 48 private and modern pod rooms will be offered in both single and double-occupancy arrangements.
Brown Machneyuda
Located at the corner of Kol Israel Haverim and Yafo Street, adjacent to the famous Mahane Yehuda Market, Brown Machneyuda is launching in spring 2020 with 113 accommodations, a bar and restaurant and rooftop that showcases the Yehuda mountains.
In addition to the new hotel openings across 2019-20, Brown Hotels will expand The Lighthouse Tel Aviv to offer an additional 60 guestrooms, a conference center, a subterranean bar/lounge, gym & spa complex and rooftop pool. After the start of the new decade, Brown Hotels will add to its portfolio with four more properties in Israel, seven properties in Greece, three in Germany and one hotel in London by 2023.
