Canaves Collection has announced the upcoming opening of Canaves Ena in Santorini on May 1. The former Canaves Oia Boutique Hotel has been transformed into Canaves Ena, offering 18 suites that have been designed in line with the original architecture of the Cycladic caves from which the hotel was built. The refurbishment expands across the entire property, including the reception area, all guest suites and the main pool, which will now have a swim-up bar with views of the Aegean beyond.
What can guests expect? Each suite has a private veranda and infinity pool that overlooks the cliffside and the Aegean Sea. Pretty cool: The River Pool Suite has a river pool jacuzzi carved into the 17th century caves, plus a king-sized bedroom, living area and a spacious bathroom.
Situated alongside the hotel’s main pool is the hotel’s new restaurant, Adami. The restaurant’s menu includes traditional recipes made with locally sourced ingredients. At Adami, families and friends can gather to experience a traditional “Sunday Table,” the cornerstone of Greek life.
Guests can also enjoy a private sailing experience onboard the collection’s fleet of yachts to discover the waters beyond Oia and the hidden coves only accessible by boat. They can additionally opt for a tasting in local wineries that date back 3,000 years and discover the island of Therasia. Tip: Private candlelit dinners and in-room couples’ massages can also be arranged.
