Capella Hotels and Resorts has announced the scheduled opening of Capella Taipei in winter 2024. Conceived by André Fu Studio, the 86-key luxury hotel is located near Songshan International Airport and Xingtian Temple, besides vibrant art districts such as Taze-Neihu, the Songshan Culture Park, Huashan 1914 Park and Taipei Arena, a hub of pop music and performances. The property, designed in consultation with the Mori Building Group from Tokyo, offers views of the city and surrounding mountains.
Capella Taipei’s main restaurant, The Grill, will showcase grilling, aging and smoking techniques, offering sustainably sourced farm-to-table produce with a French-inspired seasonal menu. The Patisserie will serve artisanal breads and in-house roasted coffee. Authentic Cantonese cuisine with Taiwanese influences and a Japanese omakase restaurant will further enhance the dining experience. Additionally, a two-story destination offers a mixology-focused ground floor, among other bar-centric concepts to be announced soon.
Capella Wellness, located on the second floor, will focus on healing treatments inspired by traditional practices. It will provide the brand’s signature offerings based around the phases of the moon. Guests will have access to four treatment rooms, a fitness studio equipped with Technogym equipment and an outdoor heated pool.
In addition, Capella Taipei will offer corporate facilities for meeting spaces, called the Campus, including a conference hall and two additional meeting spaces for guests’ business and functional needs. For exclusive events and celebratory milestones, the property will house a private event hall and salon with a private entry.
