The Chatwal, New York has launched a new series of insider experiences with tour operator LOCALIKE for travelers who opt to stay in one of its 14 specialty suites. Each themed suite, from the penthouse Producer to the namesake Chatwal suite, is paired with a number of experiences in New York City.
The Chatwal’s partnership with LOCALIKE allows guests to enjoy cultural, culinary, and wellness-focused excursions around the city, each based on what suite they choose to stay in. Rates for the suites start at $1,315 per night, based on double occupancy.

Heritage Suite
Located in one of the last remaining buildings designed by architect Stanford White, The Chatwal’s Heritage Suite honors the hotel’s past with chosen artifacts, documents, and artwork. Guests can enjoy a two-hour private tour through the Theater District focusing on the neighborhood’s prevailing Art Deco design principles. Led by an art historian, guests will learn the history of landmark sites including the Chrysler Building and Radio City Music Hall.
Library Suite
With a handpicked collection of literary tomes in its own private library, the one-bedroom Library Suite is ideal for avid readers. As the paired experience, guests will enjoy an exclusive docent-led tour through the Morgan Library & Museum, the former private library of American banker J.P. Morgan built in 1906. The private tour will focus on Morgan’s permanent collection of rare books and manuscripts housed at the center of the building.
Sanctuary Suite
In addition to the privacy of its landscaped terrace, guests staying in the Sanctuary Suite can a picnic in the park. Guests will choose between either Central Park or nearby Bryant Park to enjoy a full-serviced picnic of New York local cheeses, fresh baguettinis from Balthazar Bakery, and sweet treats.
In addition to the new insider experiences, the specialty suites include butler service, complimentary use of the spa facilities and fitness center, and complimentary use of the Mercedes-Benz house car. Each of The Chatwal’s specialty suites also has a terrace making it the highest concentration of terraces for any hotel of its size in Manhattan.
