The Stafford Collection has announced that Lympstone Manor, celebrity chef Michael Caines’ hotel, restaurant and vineyard in Devon, will be joining the group as an associate member. Lympstone Manor will now sit alongside The Stafford London and Norma, further enriching the collection’s portfolio. The property is also a member of Relais & Châteaux hotels. The announcement follows the recent appointment of Caines, one of Britain’s most celebrated and acclaimed Michelin-starred chefs, as culinary strategist at The Stafford London.
Caines’ new venture as culinary strategist, overseeing all food and beverage across The Stafford London, marks his first venture in the city. Following a rebrand, The Game Bird restaurant within the hotel is set to reopen this autumn. The refreshed menu will showcase the chef’s signature dishes, reflecting his passion for terroir cuisine that celebrates the finest ingredients from across the British Isles. Championing seasonality, sustainability and biodiversity, each dish is designed to evolve with the rhythm of the land.
This collaboration will also see the launch of a new “City to Coast” accommodation package where guests can enjoy a stay at both The Stafford London and Lympstone Manor. This new offer invites guests to travel from the heart of London St James’s to the Devon coastline, with quality food exploration at the heart of the bookable experience.
The Stafford London has been a haven of luxury since 1912. The hotel features 106 bedrooms and suites across the Main House, the all-suite modern Mews building and the historic Carriage House. Dining options include four private dining rooms, a 400-year-old Wine Cellar, The Game Bird restaurant with à la carte options and afternoon tea, and The American Bar, famed for its eclectic décor and cocktails.
This partnership marks a major milestone for both the Stafford Collection and Lympstone Manor, combining their commitment to excellence and innovation. Together, this collaboration brings a fresh perspective to London’s dining scene and offers guests a seamless blend of city sophistication and coastal charm.
