Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain in central China has announced the opening of their newest accommodations, the Presidential Villa.
The villa was designed around the region’s roots at the birthplace of Taoism and includes many Taoist elements of harmony with nature and the vision of reconnection and self-development.
Located in the heart of the resort, the Presidential Villa is close to the main dining and entertainment areas but is still surrounded by views of the mountains.
Offering almost 10,000 square feet of space, the two-story villa houses four individual suites ranging from 860 to 1,185 square feet, as well as one valet room to accommodate large groups or several groups traveling together. Each suite refers to and is named after a Taoism principle: good, nature, harmony, and benevolence.
Decorated with Chinese-inspired, locally made furniture, and paneled walls with classic rattan fittings and accents, the interior reflects Six Senses’ commitment to sustainable living and preserving local heritage and culture.
Inside guests will find a living room, library, dining room, kitchen, wine cellar, and spa treatment room filled with natural light. The fully-equipped kitchen offers state-of-the-art appliances to allow guest to host dinner parties using produce grown at the resort or at a local farm.
The space also includes a private cinema and an 861-square-foot heated outdoor swimming pool with a Jacuzzi. Butler service is available 24/7.
Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain is located near the UNESCO World Heritage & Natural Cultural site of Dujiangyan, also known as the homeland of the giant pandas.
