Ocean House Management Collection is appointing Christine Smith as general manager at The Inn at Hastings Park. Smith will supervise daily operations of the boutique luxury property, located in Lexington, MA, in her new role.
Smith joins The Inn at Hastings Park after serving as corporate director of luxury sales and strategic partnerships at Ocean House Management Collection. She previously held the positions of director of rooms and director of guest relations for the Ocean House. Before that, she served as a manager at The Grand Del Mar Resort in San Diego, CA.
She has served on several community boards and received her bachelor’s degree from Mercyhurst College in Pennsylvania, where she studied hotel, restaurant and institutional management. Smith succeeds Trisha Pérez Kennealy, the owner of The Inn at Hastings Park, who will carry on her leadership and community spokesperson role for the property.
The Inn at Hastings Park recently joined Ocean House Management, a collection hotel property in New England that includes the Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI and the Weekapaug in Westerly, RI. All Ocean House Management Collection hotels are part of the international hospitality association, Relais and Châteaux.
The Inn at Hastings Park is located 15 miles outside Boston. It has a total of 22 guest rooms and a 54-seat restaurant.
