The COMO Group has announced that the first hotel in its home country: COMO Metropolitan Singapore, will launch this September with a soft opening. The property will be located within COMO Orchard, the brand’s new concept combining hospitality, lifestyle and fashion under one roof, spread across 19 floors on Singapore’s Bideford Road.
COMO Orchard will host COMO Metropolitan Singapore’s 11 floors of accommodations, a rooftop pool bar for guests, as well as floors for dining, a wellness center and fashion retail. Opening in successive phases starting in September, the 156-room hotel is the first of the spaces to launch in the complex.
The newest addition to the brand’s wellness center, COMO Shambhala, is COMO Orchard’s 9,000-square-foot facility dedicated to holistic well-being. It offers spa treatments and addresses both core movement and nutrition, including gut health and body composition diagnostics. A range of classes, workshops, one-day “Wellness Packages” and multi-day “Wellness Paths” allow guests to choose their wellness journey, or have one curated for them.
COMO Orchard will also offer three culinary experiences. Debuting its first-ever international location is the Michelin-starred New York and Miami Korean steakhouse, COTE by restaurateur Simon Kim. For visitors in search of a nutrient-rich meal, COMO Cuisine will be serving all-day dining classics including local favorites as well as healthy fare from the COMO Shambhala menu. Guests can also head to the first floor where French pastry chef Cédric Grolet will serve his signature confections in the pastry shop.
With two floors dedicated to fashion retail curated by Club 21, visitors will find seasonal collections and pop-up partnerships. Personal shoppers will also be available to help navigate the space, and purchases will be delivered directly to guests’ hotel wardrobes.
