Hilton has announced the debut of its luxury brand Conrad Hotels & Resorts in California with the signing of Conrad Los Angeles. Located in downtown Los Angeles, the property, slated to open in 2022, is part of The Related Companies’ mixed-use development The Grand LA, designed by Frank Gehry.
Managed by Hilton, the 28-story hotel will have 305 guestrooms, as well as a spa, an indoor/outdoor lobby with views of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and a 16,000-square-foot rooftop terrace with a private pool deck overlooking downtown L.A. Locally inspired culinary experiences will be on offer at the dining outlets with expansive lounges and outdoor amenities showcasing California’s outdoor culture. The property will also offer 12,000 square feet of meeting and event facilities with integrated technology capabilities as well as a modern fitness room.
Located in the heart of Grand Ave. Arts, The Grand LA will include 176,000 square feet of retail and dining space, over 400 residences and a large public plaza with a series of landscaped, open terraces that will host free arts programming all year round, including live concerts. Good to know: Some of the city’s most prominent cultural venues are located within walking distance of Conrad Los Angeles, including The Broad, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Museum of Contemporary Art, Grand Park, Colburn School and The Music Center.
The Related Companies is behind New York City's Hudson Yards development, which is home to the Equinox Hotel New York, a seven-story mall called Shops & Restaurants of Hudson Yards, a performance and arts space known as The Shed, a park and more.
