Conrad Los Angeles is now accepting reservations for stays beginning on June 1, 2022. The 305-room hotel, located in the Frank Gehry-designed mixed-use development The Grand LA, marks Conrad Hotel & Resorts’ first property in the "Golden State." Located in Downtown Los Angeles, the hotel will have contemporary interior design by Tara Bernerd & Partners, and culinary offerings led by Chef José Andrés and ThinkFoodGroup.
The 28-story Conrad Los Angeles will offer views of the city—including the Walt Disney Concert Hall—from its 16,000-square-foot rooftop terrace, complete with a private pool deck. Located within walking distance to some of Los Angeles’ cultural attractions, The Grand LA will offer shopping, dining and entertainment options.
Tara Bernerd & Partners brought its signature luxury approach while crafting the interior design for the hotel, drawing inspiration from Gehry’s architecture. The interiors take cues from the West Coast Modernist movement, with its holistic design and links to nature, as well as the architecture and culture of Downtown Los Angeles. The hotel also has floor-to-ceiling windows.
Conrad Los Angeles will feature two original dining concepts from José Andrés and his ThinkFoodGroup team, both located on the 10th-floor arrival lobby. The first will be an open-air rooftop dining destination that will serve a Latin- and Asian-inspired menu, including a pool-side menu offering light snacks and sharable plates. The second restaurant will be dedicated to classic Spanish flavors and dishes that utilize Southern California’s farm-fresh ingredients. Adjacent to the second restaurant will be a lobby bar.
