In honor of the Year of Russian Ballet, Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg is hosting a museum exhibit on famous Russian ballet dancers from the 20th century.
The hotel, the only one in the city to be home to a historical museum, will be hosting the exhibit until December. The collection is curated by The Actors Samoiloy Museum Apartment and can be found in the Samoiloy family’s former apartment.
The exhibition focuses on the lives and careers of Mikhail Baryshnikov, Rudolf Nureyev, Anna Pavlova, Vaclav Nijinsky and Galina Ulanova. Costumes, rare photos, posters and personal belongings are all included in the collection. Museum visitors can receive guided tours on the hotel’s second floor. The exhibit will be open every week, from Wednesday through Sunday, until it ends in December.
The hotel is also currently hosting visitors for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Soccer fans can watch matches in the hotel’s Atrium restaurant. Guests can receive light snacks and drink cocktails and beer as they cheer on their favorite teams. The restaurant is open every day from 2 p.m. until late.
Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg is a five-star hotel located in the center of the one of Russia’s most famous cities. The property consists of three 19th-century buildings and offers 388 rooms, 95 of which are executive rooms.
