Last year, the five-star Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa Malta began a significant refurbishment of the property that introduced an Executive Lounge, updated the hotel lobby and redesigned the guestrooms. This year, the work on the hotel spa expected to finish this fall.
The Athenaeum Spa will undergo major renovations this year. Guests can expect an array of new facilities, including a manicure/pedicure salon, Hot Relaxation Beds, a Vitality Pool, an outdoor plunge pool, Experience Showers, a thermal pool and deck and a Relaxation Pool. Goddard Littlefair will head up this project.
This past summer, the hotel debuted a new Executive Lounge for guests staying in suites and executive rooms. The space overlooks the property’s gardens, features its own private terrace and offers private breakfasts, meeting room space and complimentary snacks and beverages throughout the day.
In November, London’s GA Design helped update the hotel lobby. The next month, the hotel revealed a new contemporary look for the guest bedrooms. Led by the design and project team at QP Management, the refurbishment extended to the property’s six Executive Suites and three Palace Suites.
The Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa, the original flagship of Corinthia Hotels, opened in 1968. Located on the island of Malta, the five-star hotel offers 150 rooms.
