Baker’s Cay Resort in Key Largo, Florida—formerly The Hilton Key Largo—is now a part of Curio Collection by Hilton and is scheduled to reopen February 11. Amidst lush tropical landscapes, the hotel is situated one of the dive capitals of the world—a place housing the only live coral reef in the U.S. Of course, activities are not limited to the sea, given there is plenty to experience at the hotel itself.
The hotel houses 200 suites and guestrooms, each with its own private balcony—and 10 of these even have private Jacuzzis. For families or couples, The Baker’s Cay Suite has some of the comforts of home away from home, providing a complete kitchen, master bedroom with a king bed and second bedroom with a trundle bed. Additionally, the Premium Waterfront Suites—available as one or two bedrooms—hold up to eight guests and provide a panoramic view of Florida Bay.
Activities for clients include a dive class with Rainbow Reef or a swim-with-the-dolphins experience at Dolphins Plus Marine and Mammal Responders. Other activities include water sports, fishing, jet ski rentals, parasailing and eco-tours. Dining options include Calusa featuring breakfast and dinner in a casual setting, Dry Rocks showcasing live music and fire pits and the Pool Bar offering fresh fruit infused frozen concoctions.
