Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is expanding its sales department by appointing Becky Colbert as the market director of group account sales for the Reserve, effective immediately.
Becky Colbert is tasked with developing new business opportunities for Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, along with driving group sales from the northeast U.S. region. Colbert is based in New York City.
Colbert was previously senior group sales manager at Lotte New York Palace, where she had been working since 2013. Prior to that, she began her hospitality career at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel as a front desk agent; a year later, she was promoted to assistant front office manager. Colbert earned her degree in Hospitality Management from Syracuse University.
Situated on 1,400 acres of the former Laurance Rockefeller estate on Puerto Rico’s Atlantic coast, Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve was created as an open-air enclave integrated with references to the surrounding natural landscape and culture. At the award-winning Spa Botánico, a five-acre spa situated on a pineapple field, guests can receive treatments that blend Puerto Rican ingredients and indigenous traditions.
Our sister publication, Travel Agent, reported that the hotel reopened just last year after an extensive renovation. Each of its 114 beachfront guestrooms and suites have been re-imagined with a new design.
