Earlier today, Dusit International, a Thailand-based hotel and property development company signed a management agreement with Huizhou Yuetai Investment Company Limited that confirms Dusit International will manage two new properties in Huizhou, in China’s Guangdong Province. Dusit International is represented in China by Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts.
Both of these new properties—Dusit Devarana Resort and dusitD2 Serviced Residence—will be located in Huizhou’s Shuangyue Bay, a popular destination known for its hiking trails, white sandy beaches and clear waters. Shuangyue Bay itself is an approximately 90-minute car ride from Huizhou’s Pingtan Airport and 45 minutes from the high-speed train station. Shenzhen, the Huizhou city center can be reached in two hours by car. Guangzhou, the capital of the Guangdong province is a three-hour drive away.
The Dusit Devaran Resort, Huizhou Shuangyue Bay is composed of 84 guest rooms and 64 villas. The resort will also have an all-day-dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a lobby lounge, a 900-square-meter pillar-less ballroom and three meeting rooms for meetings and social events. Recreational facilities include a gymnasium, outdoor swimming pool, kids’ club and Dusit’s signature Devarana Spa, which provides Thai-inspired treatments. The beach is only a five-minute walk away.
The other adjacent property, dusitD2 Serviced Residence, Huizhou Shuangyue Bay overlooks the South China Sea in a 29-story tower. The building provides 550 apartments, an all-day-dining restaurant and a lobby lounge. The property’s vibrant décor and high tech applications are geared towards millennial travelers.
These two properties will bring Dusit International’s collection to 31 properties worldwide; over 50 more Dusit projects are confirmed to be in the pipeline for other destinations worldwide, such as Australia, Bhutan, China, Indonesia, Kenya, Myanmar, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, and UAE.
