Eleven Unveils New Summer Adventures

Eleven, a collection of adventure lodges, has announced new summer adventures for 2024. These include a new hut-to-hut hike in the French Alps, day-trips to Lake Irwin in Colorado, expanded Iceland heli experiences, water adventures in the Bahamas, and more.

Le Miroir, France

Located in the village of Le Miroir, Eleven Chalet Hibou and Eleven Chalet Pelerin sit at the top of a historic farming village in the Tarentaise Valley on the French-Italian border. Travelers can opt for a new three-day “Hut-to-Hut Hike” from July 15 to September 30, 2024 as a backcountry experience for up to eight guests. Eleven’s haute route takes guests from the chalets to two private mountain huts dating to the early 1900s.

Led by a team of local guides through France and Italy’s mountains, guests follow a historic route that can be tailored to any fitness level. Upon arrival at the sheep herder’s huts, guests enjoy the spirit of centuries-old alpine traditions, with chefs serving après al fresco and candlelit dinners paired with foraged Génépi liqueur. Beyond the new hut-to-hut hike, Eleven offers a range of all-inclusive guided summer activities for guests at the Chalets. These include glacier hiking, canyoning, via ferrata, e-mountain biking, and more.

Troll Peninsula, Iceland

Travelers can embark on a range of experiences at Eleven Deplar Farm with new ridge and point-to-point heli-hikes. They can make the most of 22 hours of sunlight during the Icelandic summer and explore the Troll Peninsula. Activities include glacier hiking, hot springs tours and stand-up paddle boarding experiences on secluded lakes.

Harbour Island, Bahamas

Eleven Bahama House has introduced a new wake boat with a range of activities for families. These include wakeboarding, kiteboarding, water skiing, kneeboarding and tubing. Guests can also enjoy the 35-foot Scorpion RIB boat for nearby snorkeling and sandbar visits. Guests can watch the marine ecosystem of Harbour Island, which includes rays, turtles, exotic fish and coral reefs.

Crested Butte, Colorado

Travelers can enjoy a Lake Irwin day trip and scenic hikes at Eleven Scarp Ridge Lodge, Eleven Taylor River Lodge and Eleven Sopris House.

New day-trip adventures are offered from Eleven Scarp Ridge Lodge to Lake Irwin where Eleven’s two outposts provide the ideal venue for any occasion. From stand-up paddle boarding to fishing, guests can enjoy the beauty of Irwin Lake while indulging in picnics and après. Additionally, guests can embark on day hikes, including the scenic trek to the summit of the 12,000-foot Scarp Ridge.

Eleven Taylor River Lodge, with its off-grid location, is an ideal setting for friends and families to unplug and reconnect. Activities include fishing, hiking, and more.

At Eleven Sopris House, guests can choose their own adventure, from float trips where they’ll angle for rainbow trout, and afternoons climbing the high granite cliffs of the Taylor Canyon, to hiking or biking through alpine meadows.

Patagonia, Chile

As summer winds down in the Northern Hemisphere, head to Eleven Rio Palena Lodge for the ski season that starts on September 15. Guests can also immerse themselves in a multi-sport experience, combining activities like hiking, mountain biking, fly-fishing or white-water rafting, all against the backdrop of the Andean scenery.
