The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa expects to wrap up its multi-phase renovation later this month. The Vermont resort, led by Carey Watermark Investors and Studio 11 Design, refreshed its guest rooms, spa, restaurants and public spaces.
The property finished updating its 147 guest rooms and suites. The improvements replaced the carpeting, drapery and furniture, choosing a softer neutral color scheme instead. In the guest rooms and along the corridors, the hotel installed new artwork reflecting Vermont’s history.
Visitors to The Spa at The Equinox will now be greeted with a wood-accented reception desk and new soft wood flooring. The resort updated the hot tubs, in the spa and out, expanding the in-ground outdoor one to welcome more guests. The wellness center also features a sauna, steam room, fitness studio and pool.
The onsite restaurants also saw a few changes. Marsh Tavern, with new lighting, seating and tables, now reflects a more modern aesthetic. The Chop House offers new banquette seating. Falcon Bar replaced its wallpaper, seating and upholstery to create a more wooden look.
In the property’s public areas, the resort added new furnishings, including a restored 19th century gas chandelier. Behind the front desk, the hotel reinstalled its original antique key box. The meeting spaces inside the resort now feature new artwork and updated carpeting, paint and upholstery.
