Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier in Morocco recently debuted. Located in the heart of Tangier, the palace was originally built in the 1920s as a residence for the king’s advisor. Carefully restored and expanded upon, the hotel is set on nine acres of lush hills overlooking the city.
Set along the Moroccan Riviera, Fairmont Tazi Palace has 133 rooms, suites and penthouses. Among the popular options are the Signature Suite, two Penthouses and a Katara Suite. The palace offers select guestrooms overlooking the forested hillside, with additional rooms providing views of the Old City with mountains on the horizon. During their stay, guests can also enjoy a range of culinary venues and wellness offerings.
The palace offers seven culinary venues. Crudo brings the warmth of Northern Mediterranean cuisine in every dish from breakfast to dinner, while Clémentine offers fresh, seasonal ingredients and nutritious choices. At Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar, guests can mingle over poolside cocktails while listening to music curated by resident DJs. At Origin Bar, they can enjoy handcrafted cocktails that highlight ingredients from the palace’s vegetable garden. Parisa restaurant specializes in Persian cuisine. Guests can enjoy shareable plates on the outdoor terrace or slip through the hidden entrance to Innocents, a speakeasy-style bar.
The Fairmont Spa welcomes guests with over 26,000 square feet dedicated to well-being. It includes 10 treatment rooms and outdoor spaces that lead to a vitality pool, private spa, solarium and hammam.
Guests can choose from a range of exclusive local experiences, such as visiting little fishing spots offshore, horseback riding on the beach at sunset, private boat getaways and authentic Moroccan cooking classes. Nearby attractions include the cities of Chefchaouen and Asilah.
