Aman has announced that its latest offering, Aman New York, has opened its doors to welcome visitors. Situated in the historic Crown Building, Aman New York has been created in partnership with long-time Aman collaborator Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston Architects.
Aman New York’s double-height atrium with multi-layers of textured ceiling and wall panels in muted tones hints at the brand’s Asian heritage while celebrating the essence of Manhattan. Headlining the hotel’s social venues is its 14th-floor wraparound garden terrace offering year-round dining. Two signature restaurants include Arva, an Italian dining concept that celebrates locally sourced seasonal ingredients, and Nama, a washoku Japanese restaurant with an omakase bar. The Jazz Club features daily live performances for guests.
Aman Spa set over three floors and features a 65-foot indoor pool; 10 treatment rooms; fitness facilities; and two Spa Houses comprising a double treatment room, sauna and steam rooms, hot and cold plunge pools, and an outdoor terrace with cabana, daybed and fireplace.
The 83-suite hotel is also the brand’s first property to debut an Aman Club. Members will have access to two club lounges, a private garden terrace, a Cigar Lounge and Wine Room. They can enjoy curated programming and immersive experiences.
Aman New York also debuts the group’s Aman Branded Residences, a collection of 22 homes located on the upper floors. Each residence is serviced by Aman and invites its owner to enjoy the brand's signature lifestyle.
Aman New York joins Amangani in Wyoming and Amangiri in Utah as the brand’s third destination in the United States. The trio will soon be accompanied by Aman Miami Beach in 2024, and Aman Beverly Hills in 2026.
