Cambridge House, Auberge Collection is now taking reservations ahead of its February 1, 2027, debut, giving Auberge its first hotel in the United Kingdom and Mayfair a new address at 94 Piccadilly.
The 102-room hotel and residences occupy a Grade I-listed Palladian mansion commissioned in 1756 by the 2nd Earl of Egremont — later home to the Duke of Cambridge and, from 1865 to 1999, the “In & Out” Naval and Military Club. Owner Reuben Brothers is restoring the landmark as part of a £1 billion ($1.35 billion) redevelopment of 1.3 acres along Piccadilly, between Green Park and Shepherd Market.
Two designers are splitting the project: Jean-Louis Deniot is handling the hotel and guest spaces, while Laura Gonzalez is designing the signature bar, the wellness facilities, and a members club slated to open later in 2027.
The dining anchor is Major’s, a first-of-its-kind concept from Major Food Group — the team behind Carbone, Torrisi, and ZZ’s Club — blending the American chophouse with the London grill inside the mansion’s restored Georgian ballroom and courtyard. Expect seafood towers, caviar service, game, and a bar pouring at least 10 riffs on the martini.
Wellbeing by Auberge will span three floors, with hydrotherapy circuits, a heated pool, six treatment rooms, a gym, immersive studios, a bathhouse, and a circular relaxation lounge built around a fire pit. For groups, the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and private rooms can host events across a range of sizes and formats.
“The launch of Cambridge House marks a defining moment in Auberge Collection's exciting urban growth and global expansion,” Christian Clerc, president and CEO of Auberge Collection, said in prepared remarks.
The London opening follows 2025 debuts in Florence (Collegio alla Querce) and Geneva (The Woodward), plus this year’s nine-property Auberge Safari launch in Tanzania; The Knox in Dallas arrives in 2027.
Rates start at £1,250, room only.
