Four Seasons Concludes Management of Mountain Retreat in France

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has concluded management of Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois Megève, A Four Seasons Hotel and the associated outside restaurants of La Taverne du Mont d’Arbois and Pizzeria du Mont d’Arbois. The property is being managed by Beyond Places and will reopen for the winter season on December 20, 2024. 

Four Seasons Hotel Megève and Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois, Megève are the result of a partnership between Four Seasons and Edmond de Rothschild Heritage. As part of a historical commitment from the family, Megève-based Edmond de Rothschild Heritage has invested to develop the village and position it as a preferred destination for a new generation of travelers. Note: Four Seasons will continue to manage Four Seasons Hotel Megève, L’Idéal – 1850 and Mont d’Arbois Golf Course.

Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois, Megève offers 40 rooms, comprising three chalets. These were built in 1927, 1960 and 2005, respectively, and were being operated by Four Seasons since December 2019.

Four Seasons says it looks forward to continuing its partnership with Edmond de Rothschild Heritage through the operation of Four Seasons Hotel Megève, mountainside restaurant L’Idéal – 1850 and Mont d’Arbois Golf Course (Golf du Mont d’Arbois). Four Seasons Hotel Megève is preparing to open December 18, 2024, for its winter season.

Four Seasons adds that it is working collaboratively with all parties to ensure a smooth transition. Further details will be announced in the coming months.
