Four Seasons Adds Japan, Thailand, and Lanai Curated Journeys

Four Seasons has rolled out three more multi-property itineraries, this time stitching together its hotels in Japan, Thailand, and Hawaii into single, pre-built trips that come with a dedicated planning team attached.

The new routes join the Bali, Spain, and Mexico journeys the company introduced earlier, bringing the collection to six. The pitch is the same across all of them: one point of contact handles the logistics, transfers, and experience bookings from the first check-in to the last check-out, so the guest moves between properties without re-explaining preferences at each stop.

The nine-day Japan itinerary runs through Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, Kyoto, and Osaka. Its marquee moment is early-morning access to the first floor of Toyosu Fish Market, the trading floor where Tokyo’s top sushi chefs buy their fish, followed by a hands-on sushi lesson using what came off that floor a few hours earlier. Kyoto brings a Cultural Ambassador for off-the-tourist-trail routing, and Osaka closes with a guided run through the city’s street-food and market scene.

Thailand gets the longest of the three at 11 days, moving from Bangkok to Chiang Mai to Koh Samui. Stops include a textile session with the mother-daughter team behind Naenna Studio in the north, a custom-bottled spirit at BKK Social Club, and a nighttime spa ritual on a private stretch of Samui coastline.

The seven-day Lanai program never leaves the island. Guests split time between Four Seasons Resort Lanai, with a private catamaran sail and outings led by local storyteller Tuma, and Sensei Lanai, where the emphasis shifts to forest bathing, wellness consultations, and spa treatments.

“Today’s luxury traveler is looking for experiences that feel both meaningful and seamless,” said Marc Speichert, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Four Seasons. “By connecting multiple Four Seasons properties into one thoughtfully designed itinerary, we’re able to help guests experience a destination more deeply, while knowing every detail has been carefully considered along the way.”

For advisors, the model effectively packages the multi-stop luxury trip Four Seasons clients were already asking for, with the brand absorbing the coordination work in between.
