Four Seasons has appointed Richard Raab as general manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol. Bringing more than 25 years of experience with Four Seasons, Raab looks ahead to the opening of the new resort in 2024.
“With the creation of this new resort experience well underway, Richard has been deeply involved in all aspects of development, from design details and dining concepts to resort programming and the all-important priority of assembling the team, who will ultimately bring the Four Seasons experience to life for our guests," said Antoine Chahwan, Four Seasons president, hotel operations – Americas.
Most recently general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay and the former Four Seasons Hotel Lion Place St. Petersburg, Raab’s Four Seasons career began in the F&B division at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. From there he went on to Hawaii before returning to the U.K., where he had earned his second hospitality degree at the University of Surrey. Subsequent assignments took him to the Caribbean, back to LA and to the first of two assignments in the Middle East at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.
“Our location on the Baja Peninsula’s sunny southern coast is second to none, with every one of our guest rooms and suites, not to mention a full array of restaurants and bars, all having sparkling ocean views,” he said, noting that even the fitness center will have a view.
Guests can enjoy an immersive resort experience, with a beach and multiple pools, a range of F&B outlets, a garden spa, an events clubhouse, golf, water sports and whale watching just offshore. The resort’s concierge team will be available before and during every visit to personalize every guest’s holiday, whether on-site, out on the town or exploring Baja via land or sea.
