Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica has opened its Papagayo Suites, a collection of 10 new one-bedroom suites and the first finished piece of the resort’s ongoing enhancement program. The suites are bookable now through Four Seasons for arrivals beginning December 17, 2026, which lands them squarely in the peak holiday window for Guanacaste.
Each suite runs 1,206 square feet and is built around indoor-outdoor living, with an expansive terrace, a king bedroom, a separate living area, and views over Papagayo Bay. The design leans residential rather than hotel-standard, with bespoke furnishings, sculptural lighting, and spa-inspired marble bathrooms. Positioned in the heart of the resort, the suites are meant to deliver privacy without pulling guests far from the dining, wellness, and recreational offerings.
“The new Papagayo Suites represent our continued investment in creating exceptional experiences for guests seeking the very best of Costa Rica,” said Brent Martin, general manager. “These beautifully designed accommodations offer a seamless connection to the destination while providing the comfort and privacy that our guests value most.”
More is coming. The same enhancement initiative includes a reimagined Miramar Presidential Suite, an elevated Nemare dining experience, and refreshed gathering and event spaces inspired by Costa Rica’s biodiversity. For clients planning a first visit, the resort has published a four-day sample itinerary that ranges from a scenic flight over the Guanacaste coastline to spa time and family programming at Papagayo Park.
