There’s a brand new luxury resort on Vietnam’s largest island. Phu Quoc—a rapidly growing tourist destination located in the Gulf of Thailand just off of the southern Cambodian coast—is now home to a Fusion Resort. With a soft opening over the summer, the Fusion Resort Phu Quoc is situated on 50 acres of lush tropical gardens overlooking the beach in the bay of Vung Bau.
Fusion is known for its all-inclusive spa concept, whereby guests are privy to daily spa journeys at no extra cost. The Maia Spa Phu Quoc has 20 double treatment rooms, steam and sauna rooms, large changing rooms, yoga areas, a hair/beauty salon and a top-notch fitness center. Because Phu Quoc pepper is known around the world, the spa has incorporated a pepper garden from which herbs and spices are harvested for treatments (these include the Natural Living Pepper massage, utilizing a bespoke blend of black pepper oil, and the Freshly Ground Pepper Scrub).
Another Fusion signature is the "breakfast anywhere, anytime" concept. And there are three different F&B outlets to choose from: Secret Garden, the property’s all-day dining facility; Pezcá, the resort’s oceanside restaurant; and Soul Kitchen, serving healthy juices and smoothies.
Fusion Resort Phu Quoc Grand Beach Villa
Ranging in size from one to five bedrooms (1,356 square feet to 7,395 square feet, respectively), the 97 thatched villas are each equipped with a private swimming pool and tropical garden. Villas are accessed by verdant pathways lined with bamboo groves and fragrant with lemongrass.
In addition to the stand-out spa, the resort offers two swimming pools, an outdoor cinema and a kids club.
The Fusion portfolio currently consists of six resorts and hotels throughout Vietnam in locales such as Da Nang, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City.
