Girlfriend getaways have never been so popular. Tapping into this travel zeitgeist (and current social climate), Rosewood Hotels has launched a new brand initiative called #RosewoodGirlfriends. The idea is to pair packages, featuring special local experiences, with destination guides on the content hub Rosewood Conversations.
Shot at Rosewood Mayakoba, a new advertising campaign features women celebrating their friendships, showing how relationships can be strengthened through shared travel experiences. Indeed, the Rosewood Girlfriends program aims to encourage guests to take the time to reconnect, by proposing “meaningful experiences” for groups of friends. Examples include a private meeting and studio tour with the creative directors of Veronica Beard at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel; a shaman ceremony at Rosewood Mayakoba; and an Asaya wellness journey at Rosewood Phuket.
Available at Rosewood hotels around the world, the Ultimate Girlfriends Getaway Package includes accommodations in multi-bedroom suites or villas, a welcome bottle of champagne, a $250 spa credit and perks with Farfetch (the luxury fashion and lifestyle platform), including a $300 gift certificate and personal styling advice as you pack for your getaway.
Here’s a look at some of the accommodations offered with the package. At Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Italy, the three-bedroom villa comes with a private pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside. On Mexico’s Riviera Maya, the two- or three-bedroom villas at Rosewood Mayakoba have private pools, jacuzzis, dining rooms and personal butlers. And The Beach House at Rosewood Phuket—a two-bedroom hideaway with a plunge pool—also has a dedicated butler.
