Hyatt Hotels Corporation has entered into a management agreement with CTF BM Operations Ltd. for the operation of Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, the Baha Mar Convention Center and several restaurants, bars, and lounges, which will all be part of the mixed-use Baha Mar Resort. The resort, located on New Providence Island in the Bahamas, will open in phases, with Grand Hyatt Baha Mar expected to begin operation in late April.
Grand Hyatt Baha Mar will have 1,800 guestrooms, including 227 suites with high-end amenities and ocean views. The hotel will have three on-site restaurants, which includes a 200-seat signature restaurant, a pool bar and grill, a jazz-themed lounge, and an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Design Golf Course.
Additionally, the Baha Mar Convention Center will boast more than 85,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space. The Convention Center will comprise 34 divisible rooms, three ballrooms and 16 breakout rooms included, and a 2,000-seat entertainment venue. Throughout the resort will be a total of 200,00 square feet of venue spaces.
The Baha Mar Casino will have table games, sports book, slots, and mobile gaming.
Also available to guests will be the 30,000-square-foot spa, tennis courts and facilities, and luxury retail.
