Hilton's Signia Brand Adds Recovery-Focused Wellness Concept

Signia by Hilton is layering a full recovery program onto its meetings-first formula. The Hilton-affiliated brand late last month announced Signia Restore, an integrated wellness concept combining high-performance fitness, advanced recovery treatments, personalized guidance, and curated retail, debuting at Signia by Hilton Indianapolis, which is accepting reservations for January 2027.

Guests will build their own program across three integrated experiences — recovery, fitness, and retail — with a dedicated wellness concierge steering the itinerary. The group angle is built in from the start: Beyond individual sessions, Signia Restore will offer private buyouts designed for executive retreats, leadership summits, incentive programs, and team gatherings, which places the concept squarely in the sweet spot for advisors and planners booking corporate and incentive business.

“At Hilton, we see wellness as an increasingly important part of how guests want to travel, whether they are on the road for business, attending a major event or simply looking to feel their best while away from home,” Amanda Al-Masri, vice president of wellness at Hilton, said in prepared remarks. “With Signia Restore, we are expanding that vision through an experience that brings together movement, recovery and personalization in a way that feels elevated, approachable and highly relevant to today’s traveler.”

The launch continues Signia by Hilton’s steady build-out as Hilton’s purpose-built meetings and events brand. The Indianapolis property, an 800-room tower slated to be the tallest hotel in Indiana, joins recently opened Signia hotels in Orlando and Atlanta that have become anchors for major convention business, and it will feature nearly 100,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 50,000-square-foot ballroom with direct skywalk access to the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. Pairing that scale with a recovery floor is a bet that the convention traveler who spends three days in a ballroom is now the same person who wants a cold plunge before the evening reception.

The bet has numbers behind it. Grand View Research valued the global wellness tourism market at $990.4 billion in 2025 and projects it will reach $2.4 trillion by 2035, a compound annual growth rate of 9.3 percent, with North America accounting for the largest share of revenue. Wellness programming also appears to deliver measurable results: a third-party study of Miraval guests that Luxury Travel Advisor reported on earlier this year found 66 percent of respondents reported reduced stress after their stay, and 62 percent still reported it 60 days later. For a brand whose core guest arrives on a corporate travel budget, recovery is increasingly a booking driver rather than an amenity footnote.

The recovery component is split into two zones. The Physical Recovery & Reset Zone, designed to restore vitality after training or travel, features an infrared halotherapy red light sauna, a hybrid sauna, sensory showers, and a cold therapy room. The Mental Recovery & Readiness Zone, focused on relaxation and focus, includes Zero G MindSync harmonic loungers, Normatec air compression, and percussive therapy.

Indianapolis will also introduce two headline technologies. Aescape is an AI-driven robotic bodywork system that delivers precision massage personalized to each guest, and the Ammortal Chamber is a multi-modal session integrating red and near-infrared light therapy, pulsed electrostatic fields, vibroacoustics, molecular hydrogen, and guided breathwork.

On the fitness side, guests get a high-performance training floor with Peloton bikes, premium treadmills, rowing and conditioning equipment, and free-weight and functional training zones. A wellness retail component rounds out the concept with functional nutrition, hydration products, restorative wellness goods, and premium athleisure. Rottet Studio designed the space.

Following the Indianapolis debut, Signia Restore is expected to expand to select Signia by Hilton properties globally.
