Hilton Sees Major Expansion in Morocco

Hilton is on track to more than double its portfolio in Morocco, with plans to open 15 new hotels in destinations across the kingdom. Latest agreements include the debut of Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Morocco, alongside the continued expansion of Hilton’s multi-brand presence across Curio Collection by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn. Hilton also recently opened Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé, marking the luxury brand’s first hotel in the country.

Following his recent visit to Morocco, Chris Nassetta, president & CEO, Hilton, said, “Morocco is a strategically important market for Hilton, where we plan to more than double our portfolio to 25 hotels in the coming years. With a rich tradition of hospitality and a rapidly growing tourism sector, the country continues to attract increasing numbers of visitors, and we see clear opportunities to expand across both established cities and emerging destinations. Working closely with our partners across the public and private sectors, our latest signings—alongside the opening of Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé—underscore this momentum and our ambition to bring Hilton’s exceptional hospitality to more guests across the country.”

Waldorf Astoria Opens in Rabat

Hilton marked a major milestone with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé. Located in the Mohammed VI Tower—Morocco’s tallest building—the luxury hotel will feature 55 guestrooms and suites.
