Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, located just opposite the Brandenburg Gate, has unveiled the newly designed Adlon Pool. The wellness retreat is located on the hotel’s lower level.
Following an eight-month renovation, the nearly 10,000-square-foot retreat now offers a black-tiled pool, along with a fireplace lounge, relaxation areas and a well-tempered whirlpool.
In addition to the swimming pool and whirlpool, the Adlon Pool has an extensive sauna area with a range of treatments from Starpool, including a Finnish sauna, a temperature-reduced soft sauna, a steam bath styled like an Arabian hammam, an ice waterfall and an ice plunge pool. Guests at the Adlon Pool can also enjoy a variety of experience showers, from color changes and the sounds of the sea or birdsong to fragrant mint spray mist, massaging water flow and Caribbean rain effects.
Guests will also have access to the 24-hour gym with digitally controllable fitness equipment from Technogym, which combines exercise with an extensive entertainment selection, including training videos, news, films and TV series. A selection of dumbbells, treadmills, stair climbers, bicycle ergometers, steppers and a rowing machine are all available on request and by appointment, under the guidance of a personal trainer.
The newly designed pool bar serves freshly prepared fruit and vegetable juices, healthy bowls, salads, and the popular Adlon currywurst with edible gold leaf, along with cocktails, tea and coffee specialties.
The new Adlon Pool at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is available to hotel guests free of charge. Day tickets are available for non-hotel guests from Monday to Friday.
