The Hotel Christopher St. Barth is now officially reopened, completely refreshed following last year’s hurricanes. The 42-room hotel, located on the mostly residential Pointe Milou, reopened on October 17 and its restaurant, Christo, will open on November 1 in time for the Saint Barth Gourmet Food Festival. Additionally, the hotel will open three completely new villas in 2019, with the first opening in January.
The Christopher’s restaurant, Christo, is reopening with a focus on organic meats and vegetables, and, for the Saint Barth Gourmet Food Festival, Christo’s chef Nicolas Tissier is partnering with Michelin-starred chef Virginie Basselot to create a limited-edition menu.
The three new luxury villas will be located close to the hotel and combine the comfort and space of a private residence with the five-star service of the Christopher.
With interiors by French designer Olivia Putman, each villa offers 2,600 square feet of space, four bedrooms, a TV room, living room, kitchen, private parking, private swimming pool, and a host of luxurious touches including Egyptian cotton sheets and Sisley bath products. They were envisioned as modern, relaxing places to live, completely open to the sea and surrounded by lush vegetation.
Just a few steps away from the villas, the hotel welcomes guests to enjoy its luxury amenities and services: an infinity pool right by the sea; gourmet cuisine created by chef Tissier; 24-hour concierge service; and beauty treatments and massages at Spa Sisley, which opens toward the ocean. Additionally, the spa is launching a new lomilomi massage, mimicking the sounds and movements of the waves.
