When Hotel Eden reopens on April 1, its new dining spaces and menus will have a larger focus on nutrition and health.
During the renovations, in addition to working with the design team to craft his perfect kitchen, executive chef Fabio Ciervo earned a masters in nutrition, which will affect the menus of La Terrazza, Il Giardino Ristorante & Bar, and the new lobby lounge La Libreria.
According to the chef, the food available is “a balance between taste and health.”
Both La Terrazza and Il Giardino Ristorante & Bar are located on the top floor but the former has received a Chef’s Table in the renovations, allowing up to eight guests to watch the chefs prepare their meals. La Terrazza is the hotel’s fine dining venue. In addition to the selection of Mediterranean dishes is an extensive wine list. Custom menus can be crafted ahead of time.
Il Giardino offers classic Italian fare – pasta dishes, pizza and cicchetti (snacks, side dishes) – in a casual setting. The floor-to-ceiling windows open, which allows for al fresco dining. This restaurant is most suitable for families since it has a separate kid’s menu.
Completely new, La Libreria offers a casual setting to enjoy drinks or afternoon tea with Italian music in the background. At night, there’s live piano music.
For travelers who book the Instant Upgrade offer, Hotel Eden will upgrade the room category. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also included. This offer is subject to availability from April 1 – May 14, August 1 – September 10, and November 1 – December 28. The Plan Now, Indulge Later package includes 15 percent off rates during the following times: April 1-30, July 23 – September 7, and November 1 – December 28.
