Hotel Healdsburg, a luxury boutique property in Healdsburg’s downtown, has announced several seasonal offerings for guests to celebrate spring and experience the beauty and abundance of Sonoma Wine Country. The hotel has partnered with Front Porch Farm to offer guests an immersive farm and floral design experience, the hotel’s celebrated “Wildflower Walks” has returned and Hotel Healdsburg’s spa, The Spa Hotel Healdsburg, is now offering a selection of new seasonal treatments.
Through its new partnership with Front Porch Farms in Healdsburg, hotel guests can partake in an exclusive, immersive farm and floral design experience that begins with a farm walk to explore Front Porch’s 110 acres of fruit and olive orchards, rows of flowers, heritage vegetable crops, fields of heirloom polenta corn and vineyards on sunny hillsides. Visitors will see the fields in bloom, taste ripened fruits and smell the fragrances of lilac, rose geranium, lavender, peonies and other seasonal flowers.
Following the walk, Front Porch’s lead floral designer Jaclyn Edds Konczal will engage each group with a floral design demonstration before guests work on their own centerpieces. The afternoon ends with a relaxed, gourmet picnic lunch on the grounds of the farm, prepared by Dry Creek Kitchen, the hotel’s restaurant. Guests will depart with the centerpieces they created. The experience includes the picnic lunch, plus all tools, floral/botanical materials and a vase.
The hotel’s popular Wildflower Walks experience has also returned for the season. During this special excursion, guests can witness up close a colorful array of the region’s wildflowers, including bright blue iris, purple lupine, deep orange poppies, pink wild rose, blue-eyed grass, yellow buttercups, and more in full bloom. Lasting about two hours, the hike through the region’s scenic hills is led by local trail guide and certified health coach Karen Austin, who will customize the experience to meet guests’ fitness levels and interests. The experience includes a gourmet picnic lunch from Dry Creek Kitchen. Available to book now through May 31, the private guided walk must be reserved 72 hours in advance.
Finally, the property’s onsite full-service Spa Hotel Healdsburg is now offering new spring-centric treatments, so guests can feel relaxed and rejuvenated during their Wine Country escape. The Strawberry Rhubarb Hydrating Massage is a head-to-toe massage and body polish that will leave guests with smoother, more hydrated skin. With manuka honey and a rich whipped oil hydrator that transforms from a cream to an oil, the Manuka Honey Facial offers skin nourishment.
