Iconic Luxury Hotels has announced the upcoming opening of Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club along the shores of Playa del Real de Zaragoza in Marbella, Spain. The new luxury Andalusian hotel will mark the ninth property in L+R Hotels’ Iconic Luxury Hotels collection. The addition of Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club follows the recent debut of Palm House in Palm Beach, FL, marking the third international venture from U.K-based Iconic Luxury Hotels. Reservations for stays in spring 2025 will be announced soon.
Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club will have 125 rooms, 10 signature suites and two meeting rooms. Guests can choose from a selection of suites, including Garden Suites, Terrace Suites with private pools or Jacuzzis, and the Royal Marbella Suite.
The resort also has intimate courtyards with water features and lush surroundings. Additionally, guests can make use of three pools, including one that welcomes families and another reserved for adults. On the dining front, Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club houses four restaurants and bars, including an al fresco all-day restaurant that highlights traditional flavors, alongside the catch of the day served on open barbecues, as well as a collection of hangout spaces and bars scattered throughout the hotel.

Amu Beach Club—the second outpost of Amu after Monaco—will offer an infinity pool, oceanside dining spots, sunset views and direct beach access.
Wellness offerings at the resort comprise a "cavernous" spa with seven treatment cabins, a sauna, steam room, indoor pool and plenty of relaxation spaces. The fitness studio offers spaces for yoga, workouts, meditation, breathwork and Pilates classes.
The resort is located in the heart of one of Marbella’s villages and on the edge of nearly 17 miles of beachfront. Guests are encouraged to explore this corner of southern Spain via activities such as hiking, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, fishing and sailing experiences, and shopping in Marbella’s Old Town as well as craft workshops with Andalusian artisans.
