Ten minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi, the new Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort will begin welcoming guests November 11. The 293-room hotel rests near the water, looking out over the beach’s 400 meters of sand dunes.
The new resort will offer six panoramic suites, 64 suites and eight villas, each with its own private pool. The panoramic suites will feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls that can open. Guests looking to unwind in the comfort of their room can stay in one of the resort’s four spa villas.
For the rest of the guests visiting Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, the property offers its own spa. Included within it are 14 treatment rooms, a Moroccan Hamman, hydrotherapy pools, a steam room, a salt room, an Arabic Rasul room and VIP couple’s spa suite with a private entrance.
Sustainability will be another focus of the hotel. There will be no plastic straws or single-use plastic bottle available throughout the resort. The management is considering offering water in glass bottles and providing complimentary reusable plastic bottles that can be refilled at water stations.
Guests can choose to visit any of the eight dining and drinking options available. White will provide buffet-style food all day. Mare Mare will serve Italian summer food. Al Majilis will offer coffee and patisseries. Other options are TEAN, The Lounge, Offside and the Pool Bar.
