After months of renovations, the King Cole Bar at The St. Regis Mexico City has relaunched with a new look as well as drink and food menu.
"We are very excited to present the renovation of King Cole Bar, which was architecturally designed by the acclaimed César Pelli,” said Bernard de Villèle, general manager at The St. Regis Mexico City in a written statement. “We have given life to an atmosphere that captivates with its sophisticated elegance and warmth, perpetuating that halo of exclusivity that seduces our guests.”
In addition to interior refurbishments, the bar also has a renovated outdoor terrace next to the bar, giving guests panoramic views of Mexico City.
The new philosophy – “Eat, Drink and Be Merry”- emphasizes the traditional Mexican cuisine from Chef de Cuisine Fernando Sánchez, cocktail creations by head mixologist Omar Hamud, and of course St. Regis’ signature ceremonies such as the Champagne ritual and classic Bloody Mary.
The luxury 189-room hotel has a fitness and kids club, spa, and a variety of dining options. Guests can choose from the casual Glass House Café for coffee and pastries for breakfast or the high-end 11-course culinary journey at La Table Krug. There’s also a classic Mexican and Spanish restaurant as well as a steakhouse.
Rooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows of Mexico City and feature marble baths with Remede amenities.
Nearby, guests will be able to visit the Chapultepec, Anthropology Museum, and local tennis courts as well as designer boutiques, cafés, handicraft stores and art galleries—all within walking distance.
