Saint-Tropez is a scene in the summer and, after you’ve had your fill of this renowned Riviera playground, you’ll find a quiet Mediterranean retreat just six miles away. Close enough to the action but worlds away, La Réserve Ramatuelle reopened for the busy summer season in April with six newly renovated villas. The property itself consists of the five-star hotel with 19 suites and nine rooms, plus 14 villas for those looking for the ultimate in exclusivity and privacy.
Why not bring your entourage? The largest of the bunch is Villa 17, which has six bedrooms and six baths, encompassing a total of 4,800 square feet. Designed by acclaimed architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the villa is done up with terra-cotta tiles and bespoke furniture upholstered in linen. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the sea views, while the wine cellar is stocked with your favorite vintages. There’s a pool, a terrace with an outdoor bar, and expansive gardens. Grocery deliveries are included, as are the services of a butler, chef and private trainer.
La Réserve Ramatuelle is known for its health and healing retreats, welcoming specialized professionals to lead multi-day programs. There’s also an intensive boot camp that’s a favorite of the jetset crowd. New for summer 2018: Nescens Mind and Body Retreat is a personalized three- or five-day program combining yoga, pilates and coastal hikes to appreciate the Mediterranean scenery. It kicks off with a private meeting with an osteopath and yoga instructor in order to customize the retreat, and includes daily meals and spa breaks.
Psst: If you are in Paris for the French Open, La Réserve Paris Apartments—located in a prime perch on the Trocadéro—have exclusive access to the Roland Garros tennis courts. These ultra-luxury apartments offer hotel-style services (like daily in-room breakfast and 24/7 butler service). Another perk: bicycles for a ride along the Seine, picnic basket included.
