The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) has announced the addition of ten new members to its portfolio. Properties range from a beachfront hideaway on the shores in the Caribbean to Alpine retreats in Switzerland.
Americas and the Caribbean
The Strand: Overlooking Cooper Jack Bay in Providenciales, The Strand in Turks and Caicos offers beachfront villas and secluded residences with expansive terraces and hand-crafted infinity pools. Guests can go for a swim at the exclusive beach or set out on the resort’s private boat charter for a day of fishing.
Hotel AWA: Set above the banks of Lake Llanquihue in Puerto Varas, Hotel AWA is a gateway to the landscapes of northern Chilean Patagonia. The family-owned retreat has 25 rooms and suites with views of the Osorno Volcano. AWA Restaurant offers a farm-to-table experience, with seasonal ingredients sourced locally and grown in the hotel’s organic garden using regenerative techniques. Spa facilities include a sauna, steam room, semi-Olympic pool and jacuzzi. Hotel AWA’s all-inclusive experiences promise guided adventures such as hiking, biking, horseback riding and kayaking.
Beach Club at The Boca Raton: Boca Raton’s newly refreshed Beach Club is set on a half-mile stretch of private beach along the Atlantic Ocean. Guests can enjoy an array of restaurants, a cocktail lounge and café, a fitness facility and an oceanside event space, plus a renovation of the 221 guestrooms and suites. Amenities include three pools, the Cabana Club by Vilebrequin, luxe cabanas with full bathrooms and showers, a game loft for teens, water sports and exclusive access to all of the amenities of The Boca Raton Club, accessible by a fleet of water taxis.

Europe
Van Oys Maastricht Retreat: This 81-key property is located on the banks of the Maas River but still in close proximity to the city of Maastricht, Netherlands. F&B outlets include Restaurant Maes, fine-dining at Remise and Bar César. The property’s culinary studio offers a chef’s table master class with Michelin-star talent. Guests will find that restoration and rejuvenation go hand in hand at the Nature Spa & Gym.
Capo d’Orso Thalasso & Spa: This 80-key hotel is located at the foot of the Bear Rock monument in Palau, Italy. Capo d’Orso feels more like an extension of nature, with its nearby beaches, hidden hammocks among wild olive and juniper trees, and coastal paths leading to a lighthouse. Guests can enjoy breakfast with a live harp performance and head to the Thalasso & Spa for a day of relaxation. Guests can sail from the private marina to Costa Smeralda and La Maddalena, or play a nine-hole game on the Pitch & Putt golf course with scenic ocean views.
Patria Palace: The 42-room hotel in Lecce, Italy offers a front-row view of the Basilica of Santa Croce. Formerly a noble residence designed by architect Mauro Manieri in the 18th century, the palace became the city’s first “locanda” and later Puglia’s first five-star hotel. Facilities include a rooftop restaurant and bar, neighboring Beach Club with a private guest shuttle, and a soon-to-open spa.
Villars Palace: Located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, this year-round destination offers world-class snow activities in winter and hiking or biking trails in summer. Each of the 109 rooms and suites at the Villars Palace offers Alpine views. Guests can unwind at the KAEA Villars Alpine Spa, complete with an outdoor pool, a fitness center, sauna, hammam, and a variety of treatments. The signature restaurant, Le 1913, serves Alpine dishes with a Mediterranean twist, while the Bar du Palace offers a range of cocktails.

Grantley Hall: Nestled on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in Ripon, England, this 17th-century estate features 47 rooms and suites, five dining options, three bars, and spa and wellness facilities. Fine dining highlights include Michelin-starred dining at Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall, Asian-fusion cuisine at Bar & Restaurant EightyEight, and modern British flavors at Fletchers Restaurant. Guests can explore the countryside and historic sites that surround this property.
Chiemgauhof Lakeside Retreat: Set along the shores of Lake Chiemsee in Übersee, Germany, the property has just 28 suites that reflect the simplicity and charm of the Bavarian Alpine region. Central to the Chiemgauhof experience are the curated spaces that invite guests to connect with the lake, mountains and nature. In the restaurant, diners can enjoy regional flavors with an international twist while taking in views of the surrounding landscape.
Anthology of Athens: Located in the heart of Athens, the newly opened 18-room hotel embraces biophilic design with a cascading, vertical patio and rooftop gardens. Modern Greek cuisine is served at the Botany restaurant and the Balaneion Spa offers a steam room and relaxing area as well as host of treatments.
