lebua Hotels & Resorts is gearing to lead the international culinary scene in Bangkok with the opening of two new dining experiences. The building, which is home to Tower Club at lebua and lebua at State Tower, is already well-known for its claim to the world’s highest open-air bar, which is part of the Dome at lebua. The latest to the scene include a contemporary French restaurant named Chef’s Table and a champagne bar, Pink, dedicated to serving specialty bubbles.
Chef’s Table, opening March 1, will be helmed by chef Vincent Thierry, who led Caprice at the Four Seasons in Hong Kong to three Michelin stars. Its menu will feature elegant French cuisine—served in an interactive atmosphere. Chef Thierry and his sous chefs take center stage in the open kitchen, set in the middle of the 46-seat restaurant, while speaking with guests to personalize dishes based on each diners’ palates.
The Chef’s Table contemporary French menu, with some European influences, will comprise ingredients such as langoustine, turbot, lobster, foie gras and crayfish. Chef Thierry’s main focus is sourcing quality ingredients from France and the local area, including chocolate from Chiang Mai and cream for house-made butter from Khao Yai. Wine sommeliers can suggest pairings with French selections, along with blends from Italian, Australian and Californian vintners.
Pink, the romantic, “millennial pink” champagne bar adjacent to Chef’s Table, opened on February 14. This bar, drawing its concept from the 1950s, will be a go-to spot for pre-dinner drinks and canapes, or a digestif and cigar to wind down the evening. Pink has a gold champagne centerpiece table sculpted from metals and a floor-to-ceiling champagne cellar. The outdoor patio offers the panoramic views of Bangkok’s cityscape, temples and beyond; inside, guests can relax in circular loungers, while enjoying live piano and vocals from Pink’s dedicated jazz singer.
Several of France’s finest historical and award-winning brands, such as Le Brun de Neuville, Rare Champagne, Champagne J. de Telemont, Dosnon Champagne and Champagne Comtes de Dampierre, will all be available at Pink. In addition, the multi-awarded Rare Champagne is partnering with lebua.
Chef’s Table and Pink closely follow the launch of lebua No. 3, the world’s tallest gin, caviar and vodka bar on Tower Club’s 52nd floor.
Pink Bar is open from 6 p.m. until 1 a.m., seven days a week and reservations can be made by calling +66 (2)-624-9555 or emailing reservations@lebua.com.
