After more than 10 million euros of investment and renovations, Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois, Megève, A Four Seasons Hotel, a hotel of the Edmond de Rothschild family, will launch on December 13, 2019, as a Four Seasons experience—complementing the existing Four Seasons Hotel Megève, which opened in December 2017. These sister properties are offered in partnership with Edmond de Rothschild Heritage.
Three Offerings: Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois
Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois, located at the foot of the ski slopes of Mont d’Arbois in the upper region of Megève, and a little over a mile from the existing hotel, are named after Benjamin and Ariane de Rothschild’s first three daughters.
Along with 25 rooms and suites, Chalet Eve has Prima Restaurant by chef Nicolas Hensinger, which was recently awared one Michelin Star. Chalet Eve also has a spa with an indoor/outdoor pool.
Chalet Noémie was built in 1927 for Baroness Noémie de Rothschild by French architect Henry Jacques Le Même and was initially the family’s private chalet. Its location offers privacy yet has large windows to view the surrounding scenery. The chalet has the aesthetic of an old farmhouse with a modern twist.
Chalet Alice, built in 2005 as an extension to Chalet Noémie, is the most recent of the three chalets. Both Chalet Noémie and Chalet Alice can be privately reserved for guests.

Experiencing Megève With Four Seasons
The Suite Idéal is a mountain "refuge" suite situated above L’Idéal 1850 restaurant at the top of the Mont d’Arbois ski area. Set at 6,000 feet, the 1,500-square-foot Suite Idéal includes a master bedroom and en-suite bathroom equipped with a chromotherapy Turkish shower and bath, all with views over the Mont Blanc. The suite can accommodate up to eight people. Guests can be transferred by a Polaris snow quad ride to the restaurants onsite at the hotel or to Megève village.
Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois will be open December 13 – April 14 and will offer a total of 41 rooms.
In other Four Seasons Resorts news, Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo recently updated its amenities following its $35 million renovation. The resort also plans to end construction its new collection of oceanfront residences in early 2020.
