The Liming hotel, situated on the remote island of Bequia, will officially open on November 15. Managed by Inverlochy Castle Management International (ICMI), guests at The Liming will be immersed in an experience shaped by the philosophy that doing nothing is an art form. Whether guests choose to partake in a little relaxation while soaking in a private infinity pool, or dine at the hotel’s restaurant set above the roof of the Caribbean Sea, with 360 degree views of the island, everything at the luxury resort has been carefully considered to provide guests with the freedom to just be.
“We’ve carefully designed a concept that embodies the local liming approach to life whilst maintaining the luxurious experience,” Norbert Lieder, managing director of ICMI explained.
Guests of The Liming can choose from 13 private villas with one, two, four or five bedrooms, set among the natural surroundings of the island.
Passing yachts will also have the chance to experience the hotel’s restaurant which will be overseen by chef Muskateen Sultan. The restaurant will offer a choice of locally-sourced ingredients and a menu including fresh island picked fruit, aromatic vegetables and ocean to table seafood served in bespoke ice troughs.
Reached by air or sea, Bequia’s closest connecting islands are Barbados, St. Lucia and St. Vincent. Prices per night start from $550 for a Junior Suite on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing.
