The Lodhi, New Delhi announced the launch of its new Gymbox service. Gymbox is an in-room amenity that provides an assortment of exercise equipment that can be used by guests to complete a total body workout.
Gymbox includes a yoga mat, foam roller, jumprope, adjustable toning tube, push up bar, ab wheel and two- and four-kilogram dumbbells. The service also offers a manual that details suggested exercises. With the Gymbox equipment guests can complete a variety of exercises, such as bicep curls, squats, glute rolls, quad rolls, piriformis rolls, forearm planks and more.
“Gymbox has been designed as a personal tool for guests to let them drive their own fitness experience," said Vikram Aditya Singh, the vice president and general manager of The Lodhi.
For more serious guests, The Lodhi still has its Athletic Club, a gym that has Technogym equipment and on-hand professional instructors. The fitness space also offers the Functional Zone for functional and ability training, as well as the Spinning Studio for immersive indoor cycling.
Centrally located in New Delhi, The Lodhi occupies almost seven acres near the Lodi Gardens, an extensive parkland with tombs dating back to the 15th century. Its 48 rooms and suites range from 1,350 to 4,500 square feet. In addition to its fitness services, The Lodhi offers a spa, salon, 50-meter lap pool, three tennis courts and two squash courts.
