Marram, the oceanfront resort in Montauk, New York, has reopened its doors for the 2022 season. Situated steps away from the Atlantic Ocean, the luxury boutique retreat has unveiled updates including two new suites, wellness workshops and a new cocktail program.
The 96-room resort designed by Brooklyn-based Post Company, is sporting a revamped open-air communal lounge, beach access and an on-site counter service of South American café, Mostrador Marram, helmed by Fernando Trocca of Mostrador Santa Teresita and Martín Pittaluga of Parador La Huella. Well known for its seasonally crafted rotating menus, beachfront grilling and homemade pastries, Mostrador will introduce a new menu of classic cocktails inspired by the flavors of South America.
Marram is also debuting two new luxury suites spanning 650 square feet each. The suites haveamenities from Le Labo, steam showers, a lounge and kitchen space, and outdoor spaces overlooking the ocean. The upper level Terrace Suite features an oceanfront balcony. The Garden Suite has a private outdoor dining space.
Named after the wild grass that grows around the property, Marram offers programming centered around connecting to the earth, spirituality and creativity. It is located steps away from the Terrace surf break and alongside the Shadmoor State Park, which offers hiking and biking trails. The resort offers free guided nature walks, bicycle rentals, daily yoga, meditation, evening beach fires with s’mores and stargazing expeditions. Additional bookable Marram experiences include surf lessons for individuals and groups; private energy healing sessions with the in-resort intuitive healer Raymond Storms; salt cave therapy in the Montauk Salt Cave, surrounded by eight tons of sustainably mined Himalayan Pink Salt; tarot readings by in-resort reader Diane; and singing bowl sound bath sessions.
Additionally, starting Memorial Day weekend, Marram will be reviving its “Fireside Chats” series, touching on topics across health, wellness and lifestyle.
