The Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club on the beaches of Ambergris Caye is offering guests their own secluded experience: a new private Beach Club, located just a 10-minute boat ride away from the property by private shuttle. Along the way, guests can enjoy views of remote islands and the waters of the Caribbean Sea.
At the new Beach Club, which is complete with a full restaurant and bar, guests can enjoy beach service from their lounge chairs or over-water day beds with just the flip of a flag. The Beach Club also offers water sport activities, full bathrooms and scenic views.
The restaurant and bar menu, created by executive chef Lisa Sellars, offers light bites inspired by local ingredients and indigenous fish, while the cocktail list offers Caribbean classics. Menu highlights include: San Pedrito Ceviche with home-style corn chips; Ocean Shrimp Stuffed Jalapenos made with cantaloupe mustard; Guacamole Chipotle Dip served with plantain chips, and more.
Deluxe over-water day beds made from local Belizean hardwood are also available to rent either by half- or full-day, and hammocks are purposefully placed in the sea offering plenty of room for guests to spread out and relax. For the more active beach-goers, the Beach Club offers an array of activities, giving guests the chance to explore the island, including stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, cornhole, beach combing and volleyball.
Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club is situated one and a half miles south of San Pedro and 20 minutes from San Pedro Airport.
