The Royal Portfolio in South Africa has announced the appointment of Stefan Schoeman as new general manager of Malewane Lodge at Royal Malewane. With over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Schoeman has a track record of luxury lodge and hotel management.

As general manager of Thornybush Private Game Reserve's Malewane Lodge, Schoeman will report to Kielan Kallis, who will now oversee all lodges at Royal Malewane (Malewane Lodge, Farmstead and Waterside). Schoeman’s appointment continues The Royal Portfolio’s drive to invest in exceptional talent and deliver the best of South Africa to local and international guests.
The Royal Portfolio is a collection of hotels and private residences in South Africa owned and run by the Biden family.
