Mandarin Oriental to Open Resort and Residences in Bali

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has entered into a management partnership with local real estate developer Harmoni Bali to develop a resort with private residences located on Bali’s southern coast on the Bukit peninsula. Mandarin Oriental, Bali is set to open in 2027; the clifftop resort will offer views of the Indian Ocean and direct access to a secluded white-sand beach.

Mandarin Oriental, Bali will offer 110 suites and villas with private terraces or gardens. Most of the accommodations will offer private pools. Dining experiences will include a cliff-edge restaurant and bar, a Chinese restaurant, a speakeasy bar and a beach club. A cliff-front lawn will provide a backdrop for weddings and events.

An all-inclusive spa will offer a range of wellness, beauty and massage treatments. Facilities include heat and water therapies, outdoor pools surrounded by cabanas and a fitness center with outdoor space for yoga and other wellness options. Additional resort facilities include a Kids Club, tennis courts, padel courts, beach club with water sports, an organic garden and a sustainability lab.

Good to know: The resort is situated adjacent to the Bukit Pandawa Golf Course and is minutes away from the Bali National Golf Club.

Mandarin Oriental’s branded Residences will provide 68 private villas, ranging from three to six bedrooms, set on nearly 20-acre site positioned above the hotel. Owners of these private homes will have access to a clubhouse with lounge facilities, a co-working area, function spaces and family zones, as well as a private gym and pool. They will also have access to all resort facilities.

Bali’s southern Bukit peninsula is known for its craggy coastline, white sand beaches, cliff-tops and varied landscape. The hotel is 30 minutes from Bali’s Ngurah Rai international airport and 30 minutes from the tourist destinations of Jimbaran, Uluwatu and Sanur.
